All learning opportunities at All Saints spring from our understanding that we are part of the Great Tradition of the Church, stretching from Christ and his Apostles to this day. Within this one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, we are part of the Lutheran confessing movement. ("Confessing" in this context means "confession of the truth," not "confession of sin.") The best way to begin to understand what Lutherans mean when we call ours a Confessional Church, is to read the Augsburg Confession of 1530.
